“This is how we move around now in America” — Man raises alarm over ICE deportations

A man has sparked widespread conversation online after sharing a video highlighting what he describes as the growing fear among immigrant communities in the United States.

In the video, the man explains that daily movement has become cautious and calculated for many immigrants due to intensified immigration enforcement by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to him, people are now constantly alert about where they go and how they move, as raids and deportations have reportedly increased in recent months.

“This is how we move around now in America because of the current situation with ICE,” he said in the video. “Thousands of immigrants have been deported this month alone.”

The man attributed the tense atmosphere to stricter deportation policies under President Donald Trump’s current administration, noting that fear has become a constant reality for undocumented immigrants and even those with pending immigration cases.

Recent reports support claims of increased enforcement, showing that ICE deportations have surged significantly. Data indicates that nearly 200,000 people were deported within the first seven months of Trump’s second term, with overall removals reaching hundreds of thousands this year.

The video has since generated mixed reactions online, with many users expressing concern for immigrant families, while others debated U.S. immigration policy and enforcement measures.

As discussions continue, immigrant advocacy groups have called for calm, legal awareness, and community support amid the heightened enforcement climate.
