Twin brothers arrested over alleged revenge killing in US after being humiliated during robbery

Twin brothers, Samuel and Solomon Gbadebo, have been arrested in the United States in connection with two separate murders that occurred in Fort Worth, Texas, in November 2025.

According to reports, the 20-year-old brothers were taken into custody last week and charged with murder, with investigators alleging that at least one of the killings was carried out as revenge for an armed robbery the twins were victims of several years earlier.

Police said the first incident happened in the early hours of November 15, 2025, at an apartment complex in north Fort Worth. Surveillance footage showed a white Nissan Altima entering the parking lot around 1:30 a.m., shortly before Devan Randles, 19, was fatally shot. Authorities believe Randles and other individuals were attempting to break into vehicles at the time, though details surrounding the shooting remain unclear.

The second killing occurred on November 30, 2025, outside Flips Patio Grill. Isaiah Gonzales, 20, was shot while leaving work with his girlfriend around 2 a.m. Surveillance footage showed two men opening fire on Gonzales through his vehicle’s windshield. He later died from his injuries at a hospital.

Investigators initially struggled to identify suspects in both cases. However, authorities later connected the same Nissan Altima to both crime scenes and traced the vehicle to the twins’ mother. Additional evidence, including footwear patterns and clothing seen in surveillance footage, reportedly matched items worn by the brothers.

Further investigation revealed that Gonzales had allegedly robbed the twins in 2021, during which he reportedly forced them to strip naked at gunpoint while recording them. Police later discovered a video on Gonzales’ phone showing two young men being held naked at gunpoint. Facial recognition technology allegedly identified the individuals in the video as the Gbadebo twins.

Although the twins reported a robbery in 2021, there is no public record confirming that Gonzales was arrested in connection with the incident.

Samuel Gbadebo was briefly arrested following a police chase in December 2025 but was released due to insufficient evidence at the time. Authorities say continued investigation eventually led to the arrest of both brothers.

The twins are currently facing multiple murder-related charges, and the case remains under investigation.
