Actress Teniola Aladese has shared her honest thoughts on marriage, and social media is talking.

Speaking on relationships, Teniola said many women rush into marriage without first discovering who they really are.

According to her, a lot of women move straight from their parents’ house into marriage, without ever experiencing life on their own. Because of this, they often don’t fully understand their likes, dislikes, boundaries, or what they can truly tolerate in a partner.

She explained that this lack of self-awareness is why some women feel shocked after marriage, especially when they begin to notice habits and behaviors they weren’t prepared for.

Teniola added that living alone helps a woman discover herself, understand her limits, and clearly define what she will or won’t accept — which can help prevent the common “this is not what I signed up for” feeling many people experience after marriage.
