Nigerian Travel Influencer Alma Asinobi Attempts Guinness World Record Despite Passport Inequality

In a remarkable display of determination and resilience, Nigerian travel influencer Alma Asinobi has attempted to break the Guinness World Record for visiting all seven continents in the fastest time possible. Despite facing numerous challenges due to her Nigerian passport, Alma successfully completed her journey in 71 hours and 26 minutes.
The Journey
Alma’s journey took her to seven continents, including Antarctica, South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. She traveled with a Nigerian flag, highlighting the challenges faced by Nigerians due to passport inequality.
Passport Inequality
Alma’s attempt has sparked widespread discussions about passport inequality and the barriers restricting global mobility for citizens of certain countries. The Nigerian passport is one of the weakest in the world, ranking in the bottom 10% with access to barely 20% of all 227 travel destinations.
