Moment s£x offender Daniel Odubanjo was arrested in the UK after he s3xually ass@ulted two women on a train

A nightmare unfolded on a train from Shenfield to Chelmsford, Essex, when 27-year-old Daniel Odubanjo attacked two women, trapping one in a toilet and assaulting the other just minutes later.

The first victim, 21, was forced inside a toilet where Odubanjo locked the door, grabbed her wrists, and assaulted her. In desperation, she lied about her age, claiming to be 14, which finally prompted him to release her.

Moments later, he sat opposite a 17-year-old girl, asking inappropriate questions before exposing himself and assaulting her. Quick action by a nearby passenger prevented further harm.

The British Transport Police (BTP) intercepted the train at Hatfield Peverel, arresting Odubanjo. In Chelmsford Crown Court, he was found guilty of false imprisonment and two counts of sexual assault and sentenced to six years in prison.

He was also handed a sexual harm prevention order, banning him from being under the influence on public transport and Network Rail properties.

Det Sgt Hayley Whyte said:
“Odubanjo preyed on a young woman and a teenage girl in terrifying attacks just minutes apart. Both were left distressed and traumatised. Their courage in reporting his crimes is commendable.”
