“Shame on them” — Cubana Chiefpriest claps back at critics as he reflects on marriage to DeAngels
Popular socialite and nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has taken a moment to reflect on his marriage — and he didn’t hold back while addressing those rooting for its downfall.
Speaking at a recent public event, Cubana Chiefpriest openly shaded detractors he believes are working hard to destroy his home. According to him, their efforts are futile.
“Shame on them because e nor go ever spoil ooo!” he said confidently, adding that he and his wife are in it for the long haul.
The businessman went on to express how deeply he values togetherness, love, and longevity, saying his ultimate joy is seeing himself and his wife stay united long enough to attend their children’s weddings together.
In an emotional moment, Cubana Chiefpriest credited his former boss and close associate, Obi Cubana, for teaching him one of the most important lessons in marriage — respect.
He recalled an incident from December 2016, when he was under intense pressure at work and snapped at his wife while taking a call in front of Obi Cubana.
“Chairman just looked at me and said, ‘How can you talk to your wife like this in front of me? If you don’t respect your wife, how do you expect others to respect her?’”
That moment, he said, changed his mindset forever.
“Till today, it still lives in my head,” Cubana Chiefpriest revealed, stressing that money alone doesn’t sustain success.
According to him, maintaining his marriage has been a key part of his growth and prosperity.
“Everything is not about money. If my marriage is not maintained, I will not have money like this.”
For Cubana Chiefpriest, love, respect, and partnership remain priceless — and critics can only watch from the sidelines.
